Asante Kotoko list Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex as alternative home ground for upcoming season

Asante Kotoko has designated the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese as an alternative home ground for the upcoming football season.

The club has chosen this ground as their second option, in addition to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, which has been their home venue since the club’s inception.

In a recent interview, Nana Coker, a former management member of the club and a close confidant to Dr. Kwame Kyei, revealed that the stadium was purchased and renovated with Kotoko’s interests in mind.

The Ghana Football Association released a list in which Asante Kotoko listed the Abrankese stadium as their backup option in case anything happens to the Baba Yara Stadium.

Additionally, the team will be using their training center, the Adako Gyakye Sports center, for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
