Arsenal star Thomas Partey and Tariqe Fosu join Black Stars camp for Ivory Coast friendly on Saturday

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Teye Partey has joined the Ghana camp ahead of their second international friendly encounter against neighbours Ivory Coast Saturday, June 12, 2021.

The 27-year-old midfielder was granted permission to excuse himself from the Black Stars trip to Rabat in Morocco.

Partey turned up at the Black Stars camp to join his teammates at training in Cape Coast on Wednesday afternoon as they commence preparations against Ivory Coast this weekend.

He was joined by Brentford FC player Tariqe Fosu who was also left out of the squad for the Morocco friendly after arriving late at camp.

Black Stars suffered a 1-0 defeat to the Moroccans who benefited from a goalkeeping error to get the match winner.

The duo will be part of the Ghana team when they take on the Elephants at the Cape Coast stadium on Saturdaymatch-winner.
