Aduana Stars’ Samuel Bio wins Man-of-the-match award in draw against Asante Kotoko

Aduana Stars winger Samuel Bioh was named the Most Valuable Player in the goalless draw at home against Asante Kotoko in Week 27 of the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

The Fire Boys were started well on the afternoon, dominating proceedings at the early stages of the game but lacked precision upfront.

Asante Kotoko defender Christopher Nettey had a tough time marking out Samuel Bio who was causing all the danger at the left hand side for the hosting team.

The petit wideman created three good opportunities for his teammates to hand left the opening goal but they failed to make his efforts count as they fluffed all the chances.

Bio was however subdued iWidemanecond half but still demonstrated some flashes of his quality.

The former Medeama SC ace was deservedly handed the Most Valuable Player gong for his overall contribution in the game.

The result saw Aduana Stars move to 7th with 40 points while Asante Kotoko leapfrogged rivals Hearts of Oak on the table with 47 points
