Strong center back Salisu Mohammed has finally returned to the pitch doing light training many months after picking Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury.

Earlier this week, the player was spotted at Monaco’s training grounds working hard to hit full strength and form.

Though medical experts are yet to confirm as to whether he can play actively soon, at least his comeback from that carrier threatening injury remains a big relief to his fans.

The rugged defender has been strong in Europe since he came to the limelight at his heydays with Southampton in the English Premier League.

He moved to France after his team was relegated to English Championship last two seasons and has also made a mark for himself.

Unfortunately, his career was halted after picking a severe injury at the beginning of the year keeping him on the fringes.

Many had wrote him totally off of a possible comeback ahead of the FIFA World Cup which he first tasted in Qatar 2022.

However, he has resumed training with just a month to kick start the 2026 FIFA World Cup and Ghanaians awaits his fate in the team as Coach Carlos Queiroz is set to name his provisional squad.
