2020-21 GPL: Match Report: Okraku nets second league goal as XI Wonders defeat Dwarfs at home

Techiman Eleven wonders continued their fine Start to the Ghana Premier league with a convincing 2-0 victory against Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs at the Nana Ameyaw Park.
Eleven Wonders began the game feeling so confident of themselves having shared the spoils with Asante Kotoko in game week 1, they quickly moved into action within the first minute of play, threatening the defence of Ebusua Dwarfs, but Goalkeeper Razak Issah and his compatriots were quick to respond to the attacks.
Sensing danger, Coach Ernest Thompson threw more men into defence to prevent attacks initiated by Salifu Ibrahim in midfield for Eleven Wonders.
The Game became intense after the 20th minute when Ebusua Dwarfs setled to also press their hosts, with two goal attempts, but were all thwarted by the host.
Coach Ignatius Osei Fosu rasued rhe standard of play, sending long searching balls to the attackers, and in one of rhe onslots, Prince Kpodo was deemed to have handled to ball in the box with, and thw centee referee on the day quickly spotted that, and called for a penalty in rhe 31st minute
Defender Tetteh Nortey stepped up to shoot to the blind side of the Goalkeeper.
After the goal, wonders pulled back, and allowed their opponent to enjoy play, but could not find the net, sending the game to half time.
The two sides returned to the game after the break looking to improve upon play, but it was the hosts Eleven Wonders who looked more hungrier, bringing in Prince Okraku to strengthen their attack, their desire to score was further enhanced when Prince Kpodo was giving the marching off orders in the 74th minute for a foul on the opponent.
The number deficit affected Ebusua Dwarfs who pulled all men into defence to prevent more goals from their hosts.
Coach Ignatius Osei Fosu reinforced his attack with the introduction of Ashitey Ollenu to force the Dwarfs defence to commit fouls.
The substitutions proved positive for Eleven Wonders when Super sub Prince Okraku latched on a long pass from Ashitey Ollenu to bang in the second goal of the game at the stroke of the final whistle.
Having scored twice, Wonders resirted to ball Joggling at the delight of the disperse home fans for referee to bling proceedings to an end.
