1 min readFormer Ashant Gold Chief Executive Officer Frederick Acheampong has debunked claims that he is close to landing Asante Kotoko vacant CEO job.
The Porcupine Warriors are in search of a new Chief for the day-to-day activities of the club after the George Amoakoh led management team was dissolved a few weeks ago.
Phar Rangers Bankroller Nana Yaw Amponsah, who has been interviewed for the post is reportedly likely to miss out after he was accused of leaking information by the special aide to Kofi Badu, Kwame Aboagye Mensah.
Reports were rife earlier this week that thr Ghana Football Association Executive Council member has been contacted by the hierarchy of the Reds .
However, the Kessben FM Sports Analyst has disclosed that he has been reached by any member of the board.
“Asante Kotoko job is one of the biggest in the world,what I know is that Kotoko is big and to be linked to the big job,it’s massive but no one has called me from Kotoko concerning this job, it’s big,” Frederick Acheampong told Oyerepa FM concerning his links to Kotoko CEO Job.

It would be recalled that Frederick Acheampong expressed interest in taking up the position if he is contacted.
