You Have To Pay Attention To Details – Abubakar Damba Tells Razak Abalora.

The Retired Goalkeeper has implored the Asante Kotoko Shot stopper to be paying attention to details whenever the latter is in the post.

Former Black Stars Goalkeeper Abubakar Damba is advising the Goalkeeper for the Senior National team Razak Abalora to keep composure and focus whenever he [Abalora] is keeping the post.

This comes after the Goalkeeper committed blunder which resulted in Morocco’s lone goal in the Black Stars 1-0 lose to the Atlas Lions at the Prince Moulay Abdellah stadium in Rabat in the International friendly.

Abalora received major backlashes from sections of Ghanaians following the blunder after the game.

Speaking with Africa-foot.com, Abubakar Damba postulated that goalkeeping is a specialized area and that Abalora should pay attention to details.

“The onus lies on Abalora, he is the one in the seat, he is the one in the picture.

“That’s why I’m sad but these are the hazards of the situation as a professional.

“Because goalkeeping is a specialized department and you have to pay attention to details. Damba told Africa-foot.com

“When people are going after Abalora, crucify him, crucify him, I will not take that position but he has to take the responsibility.

“He has been given the opportunities and the mistakes are being repeated.

“But I pray that we have the right department to deal with the situation.” He added.

The Black Stars of Ghana will take on Ivory Coast at the Cape Coast stadium in Ghana on Saturday June 12, 2021 in the ongoing international friendlies.
