VIDEO: Maxwell Konadu opens up on Kotoko’s Koforidua camping and more

Asante Kotoko head coach, Maxwell Konadu is satisfied with the just-ended three-week pre-season camping they held in the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua.

The Porcupine Warriors returned to Kumasi on Saturday, engaging in three friendly games in the 21 days they spent. They thrashed division two side Odweanoma FC 3-0 before drawing 2-2 with Akosombo-based Krystal Palace. The Reds rounded up with an impressive 3-0 win over division one side Mighty Jets.

The domestic top-flight league will start on November 13 after seven months of inactive football.

Konadu is optimistic the club will have a successful campaign having had a good pre-season so far.

According to him, he is enthused about the new arrivals and that the technical team will continue to trim the edges to get the strong team they are aiming to form.
