VIDEO: Jojo Wollacott injured after goalpost falls on him during Black Stars training session in Kumasi

Ghana goalkeeper, Jojo Wollacot, was hurt when a goalpost fell on him at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium while the Black Stars were training ahead of the 2023 Afcon qualifier against Angola on Thursday.

The 26-year-old was helped to his feet by the Black Stars medical staff before limping off with a frown on his face.

He had recently recovered from a finger injury that had prevented him from playing in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

In order to assess the seriousness of the injury before the doubleheader against Angola, Wollacott is anticipated to get a scan.

At the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Thursday, the Black Stars will take on Angola in the first leg of their matchup.
