Hearts of Oak have unveiled coach Samuel Boadu as the new head of their technical bench.

The 35-year-old replaces Serbian Kosta Papic – who resigned from the club after just three months in charge of the Ghanaian giants.

Boadu – a former coach of lower sides Shooting Stars and Asokwa Deportivo shocked football fans when he resigned from the Mauve and Yellows after guiding them to second on the league table in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

The Ghana Under-15 coach has signed a three-year deal with the Phobians after a successful meeting with the club’s board chairman Togbe Afede XIV.

Samuel Boadu will receive $2,500 as monthly salary and a staggering GHC70,000 as an enticement fee.

He will also receive performance enhancement related bonuses during his stay at the capital giants.

The young and brilliant gaffer had a huge task of guiding his new team to end their 11 year old trophy drought.
