Crystal Palace’s Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp both scored in a thrilling 4-2 victory over West Ham at Selhurst Park in the Premier League.
After conceding the first goal in the ninth minute, Ayew leveled the match six minutes later with a stunning strike. Wilfried Zaha then put Palace ahead with a goal in the 20th minute, before Schlupp added a third just before halftime.
Although Michail Antonio pulled one back for West Ham before the break, Palace regained their two-goal lead in the second half with a goal from Eberechi Eze.
The win lifted Palace to 11th place in the Premier League table with 40 points, with Ayew and Schlupp playing vital roles in the team’s success this season. Ayew’s goal in the match also made him the first Ghanaian player in Premier League history to be directly involved in 50 goals.
Ayew has now scored four goals and provided two assists this season, while Schlupp has also impressed with three goals and one assist.
