U-20 Afcon: Black Satellites leave Ghana for Mauritania today

Ghana Under-20 male team, Black Satellites will depart Accra for Mauritania today, Saturday, February 13, 2021, for the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations which kicks off this weekend.

Coach Karim Zito’s side has been camping for almost a month for the African youth football tournament, playing several friendly games.

Ghana qualified for the tournament after clinching the WAFU Zone B U-20 championship in December 2020 in Benin.

Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Okraku at the Airforce to see of the Black Satellites as they depart for the tournament today.

The Black Satellites are housed in Group C alongside Tanzania, Morocco as well as Gambia.

Ghana will open their tournament against Tanzania on Tuesday 16 February, 2021 at the Stade Municipal de Nouadhibou.
