Hearts of Oak Head Coach, Kosta Papic has indicated that securing big win over Bechem United on Saturday will be of no importance if his team fail to keep the momentum in the next game.
Hearts thrashed league leaders Bechem United 6-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium in a matchday 7 fixture to move to second place on the table.
The Phobians will travel to play Elmina Sharks at the Nduom Stadium in their next game.
The win ended the Hunters’ unbeaten run in the league this season after impressive start.
[Abdul Manaf Umar, Victor Aidoo 2X, Frederick Botchway (pen), Mamane Lawali, and Benjamin Afutu scored for the Phobians with Prince Kwabena Adu snatching the consolation, in a clash the visitors ended with 10 men.

Speaking after the game, Papic expressed how important the win is to the players as well as the management but believes winning the subsequent games would be more significant.
“Honestly, it is very good for us to be scoring six goals and very good for us to win the games to come closer to those who are on top of us. Very good for the players to boost the morale and good for the management to start to believe in the players but this win is not doing anything if we don’t win the next game,” he said in a post-match
Also, the Serbian thinks his team can do more regarding creating chances and taking them.
“We are still struggling tactically and technically to do something that is very important to us that is to create more chances and score more goals. We used the advantage that we had and tactically we prepared for the second half”
“Papic is not going to produce anything players are going to produce the chances and scoring goals. My duty is to make them to feel that it is possible and to try to score more goals than the opponent. Today we scored six we will see how many we are going to score the next week and the next week. We would try to score if the chance for that is there but if are not trying then we are never going to score.”
