Sunyani-based Service Radio Sports Show dubbed ‘Sports Room’ officially takes off next week|Check Crew

The much-anticipated Service Sports Show dubbed ‘SPORTS ROOM” will officially commence on Monday, September 14, 2020.

The SPORTS ROOM maiden show is expected to take Sunyani and the nearby towns and communities by storm when it begins on Monday afternoon between the hours of 1 pm to 3:30 pm.

The yet-to-be commenced SPORTS ROOM crew will be headed by one of the most popular broadcasters in the region, Richard Kwaku Adjei.

Richard Kwaku Adjei, who joined the new radio station from Space FM, also in Sunyani will be hosting the show. He has also worked with defunct Kumasi-based radio stations, Metro FM and Jem FM. He is always remembered for his unique way of presenting local news with humour.

The team will also have great sports pundits including Bismark Oppong Korang, affectionately known as OP.

OP, who doubles as the Programmes Manager for the station also joined Service Radio from Accra-based Angel 102.9 FM.

The Foreign news will be presented by one of the most popular female journalists Princess Nafisa. She joined the new radio station from Ark FM.

One Sports pundit is expected to join the team before their maiden show on Monday.

They will come off with their Morning Sports from 6:40 am to 7 am from Monday to Friday and Afternoon Sports Show from 1 pm to 3:30 pm from Monday to Friday.

The Weekend Sports Show will be a three-hour show from 9 am to 12 pm.

Services Radio which operates on 104.9 MHz is owned by the Member of Parliament for Sunyani West Constituency and Minister of Employment and Labour Relations, Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah.
