Muniru comes in with a lot of experience as Kotoko hope to win 2020/21 Ghana Premier League title progress to the group stages of Caf Champions League, having had stints with Portuguese side Tondela, Turkish Super Lig side Yeni Malatyaspor and Dinamo Minsk.

The club has announced he will wear jersey number eight while Emmanuel Keyekeh and Fabio Gama da Silva take jersey number six and 10 respectively.
