Steve Pollack drags Asante Kotoko to court

Former Asante Kotoko coach, Steve Pollack has taken legal action against his former employers over unpaid compensation due him after the club was involved in an accident in 2017.

It would be recalled that the Porcupine Warriors were involved in a fatal accident at Nkawkaw after honouring a Ghana Premier League game against Inter Allies in Accra.

Players and Technical Staff who were on board suffered injuries during the tragic incident.

According to Oyerepa FM, the Englishman is demanding GHS 100,000 as compensation after three years. He is also asking why the Ghanaian giants travelled with a bus that was not insured.

Steve Pollack has confirmed that his legal team is in charge of the issue and that he is in court to demand compensation.

”it’s with my lawyer and he’s taking care of everything” ”I gave them a chance so let’s see what happens. I am in court for compensation, ” Steve Pollack told Oyerepa FM.

The hierarchy of the team has been accused of not disclosing donations made to the players after the accident.

Thomas Obeng Asare, who was deputy equipment officer of the side lost his life through the accident.
