Stephen Oduro names his all-time best Asante Kotoko XI

Former Asante Kotoko midfielder, Stephen Oduro has named his all-time best eleven he has played with during his time with the Porcupines.

Oduro was transferred from Real Tamale United (RTU) to Asante Kotoko in 2000 and was part of the Kotoko team that won the Premier League for the 1st time in 10 years in 2003 under coach Abdul Razak.

Given he has shared the pitch with so many fantastic footballers during his spell, Stephen Oduro, known as ‘Tico Tico’ during his time in Kumasi must’ve had a hard time deciding who to leave out.

However, In a chat with Kumasi Nyame on Revolt Gh on Youtube, Oduro was tasked with picking a line up made of his best teammates during his 16-year spell at Kotoko which proved not to be a difficult task for the one-time fans’ favourite.

The side is unsurprisingly filled to the brim with top-class talent across the pitch, but there are one or two picks that may raise eyebrows.

Take a look at the full team below:

Osei Boateng (GK), Aziz Ansah, Godfred Yeboah, Daniel Acquah, Joe Hendricks, Joe Sam, Godwin Ablordey, Nana Arhin Duah, Michael Osei, Adu-Poku, Charles Taylor

Subs: George Owu (GK), Cash Bora, Stephen Oduro, Edmund Owusu-Ansah, Yusif Chibsah, Shilla Alhassan, Amed Toure.
