Stephen Amankona rejects AshantiGold deal amid Asante Kotoko switch

Berekum Chelsea captain Stephen Amankona(21) is said to have rejected an offer from AshantiGold to join Asante Kotoko.

The player currently priced $35,000 had been on new Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach Dr.Prosper Ogum’s plans ahead of the new season.

Ashanti Gold have showed much interest in Stephen Amankona’s service since last season but the player had rejected Ashanti Gold offer ans willing to join Asante Kotoko.

“I want to join Asante Kotoko and am expecting Nana Yaw Amponsah to invite me to meet him at Kumasi. signing fee and Salary not needed now, ” Stephen Amankona said it on kumasi based station Fox FM.

Berekum Chelsea and Kumasi Asante Kotoko are now in negotiation for the captain of the Bibiries.

Stephen Amankona got offer from outside Ghana, but the captain said Asante Kotoko is his dream team to play.

Amankona was fantastic last season with 10 goals as play maker for Berekum Chelsea.
