Skyy FC vs Hearts of Oak preview, team news, kick-off time & where to watch

Skyy FC will host Hearts of Oak in the last eight of the MTN FA Cup on Thursday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The quarter-final game was moved to the El Wak Stadium due to a ban on Skyy FC’s home turf in Daboase due to hooliganism.

However, the match has been moved yet again to Accra Sports Stadium.

While Skyy FC relishes their journey in the second biggest club competition in Ghana, it remains the only realistic chance of silverware for Hearts of Oak this year after an unimpressive performance in the Ghana Premier League this season.

The Phobians lost 1-0 to Asante Kotoko to fall 16 points behind the Ghana premier league leaders after their matchday 24 clash last Sunday.

Skyy FC currently sits 6th in the Division One League (DOL) Zone Two with 31 points from 21 games.

Having defeated Heart of Lions 1-0 to reach the quarterfinals, the Daboase side will take the game to Hearts of Oak hoping to topple the defending champions for a place in the semifinal.

Meanwhile, Either side is yet to report any major injury concerns ahead of the tie.

The game is scheduled for Thursday 3 PM and will be live on Star Times Adepa Channel.
