SAD: Wife sacks Legon Cities striker Hans Kwofie from home after being owed 7 months salary by his club

Wife of former Ghana Premier League goal king Hans Kwofie, has sacked her husband from home after his club Legon Cities failed to pay the player 7 months of his salaries.

Kwoffie in an interview with Angel FM in Accra revealed that the Ghana Premier League outfit have not paid the players their salaries on the last 7 months as well as his signing-on fee.

He revealed that old players are being owed 7 months while new players are battling with three months unpaid salaries.

This has led to his wife asking him not to return home without his money because she cannot fend for him when at home.

“The season has ended but I cannot go home because my wife has sacked me from the house. She says I should not come home because I’ll end up depending on her and eating from her shop. I’ve not been paid for seven months at Legon Cities. They haven’t paid my signing-on fees as well so I depend on my friends. When I call them, they keep tossing me. Life has become difficult for me. “

Kwofie was emerged the top scorer of Legon Cities with 7 goals in 23 matches.
