Reports: Five Hearts of Oak players earn Black Stars call up

Five Hearts of Oak players have reportedly earn a call up to the Black Stars B team ahead of their upcoming CHAN 2022 qualifiers.

The CHAN tournament is organised every two years by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for only players who play in the domestic championship of their country of origin.

The preliminary round draw will take place on Thursday, May 26, 2022.

Head coach Annor Walker according to Phobianews.com’s source has included five Hearts of Oak players in the yet-to-be announced squad.

Goalkeeper Richard Attah, Mohammed Alhassan, Salifu Ibrahim, Afriyie Barnieh and Suraj Seidu are the invited players from the Phobians.

The tournament is slated for Sun, Jan 8, 2023 – Tue, Jan 31, 2023, with Algeria as the host nation.
