Razak Abalora is getting complacent – Kwabena Yeboah

2 min read

Renowned Sports journalist Kwabena Yeboah has blamed complacency as the reason Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Razak Abalora keeps on committing blunders in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

The Black Stars shot-stopper had been hugely criticised by the club’s followers following some mistakes he had committed in some games in this season.

The recent one is when the Porcupine Warriors couldn’t extend their four points lead at the top of the Ghana Premier League table following their drawn game away from home on match-day 25.

Razak Abalora committed a blunder in the game and also failed to save Evans Owusu’s long-range striker from goal before defender Ismail Ganiyu scored late to draw the game level.

Kwabena Yeboah, who is a known Asante Kotoko fan believes that the technical handlers should talk to Abalora to eschew the complacency.

“Razak Abalora is getting a bit complacent I don’t know what is wrong with him one error he keeps repeating that error over and over and over and I think that somebody should draw his attention especially his technical team that he’s getting complacent.

“It’s not all the time that you should so call play from the back and it’s not the first time he made that mistake and also at the national level, ” Kwabena Yeboah told Oyerepa FM.

The Reds currently lead the 18-club league with 45 points, two more than rivals Hearts Of Oak who are second on the log.

They play WAFA on Saturday in a match-day 26 fixture at the Len Clay Stadium.
