Osei Kuffour calls on Hearts of Oak and Kotoko managements to restructure recruitment plans

Emmanuel Osei Kuffour, a former Ghanaian international, has urged both Hearts of Oak and Kotoko to revamp their recruitment strategies in order to secure the services of top-notch players in the country.

In recent years, both clubs have faced challenges in attracting the best talent from the local football scene, a situation that differs from their past successes.

Having played for both teams during his career, Kuffour emphasized the need for Hearts of Oak and Kotoko to assess their approach to player acquisitions moving forward.

“In our era, the best players in the country always joined us, but things have changed,” Kuffour explained. “Hearts and Kotoko are no longer attracting the cream of the crop, and this is a major concern. Their management should take a serious look at restructuring their recruitment strategies,” he advised during an interview with Onua Sports.

With only four matches remaining in the current league season, Aduana Stars currently top the table, while Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko hold the fifth and sixth positions, respectively.
