OFFICIAL: Prince Pambo replaces Adam Baba as Black Stars Team Doctor

Former Ghana U-20 team Doctor, Prince Pambo has been appointed as the new Head of the Black Stars Medical Team after Dr. Baba Adam was relieved off his duties.

According to the GFA, Dr. Baba was affected by a reshuffle following a review conducted by GFA officials into the work of the Black Stars Medical Team.

The Sports Medicine expert has served as the Head of the GFA Medical team since 2020 after he was appointed alongside Dr. Kofi Ablorh and Dr. Percy Annan.

“There was a review. Authorities saw the need for reshuffling so a decision was made to replace Dr. Adam Baba with Dr. Prince Pambo. It’s just part of normal changes,” GFA Communications Director Henry Asante told Accra based Happy FM.

The Black Stars will open their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with a Group E encounter against Madagascar on Wednesday in Cape Coast before travelling to the Central African Republic for the second group game on June 5.
