OFFICIAL: Legon Cities beef up Technical Team with Maxwell Konadu until end of season

Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities have appointed Maxwell Konadu to take charge of the team until the end of the 2020/21 football season.
He becomes the club’s third trainer in this campaign after German-Bosnian coach Goran Barjaktarevic and Bashir Hayford.
Konadu – a former Black Stars assistant coach is currently with the national Under-17 side, Black Starlets after being sacked by Asante Kotoko in December 2020.
He replaces Bashir Hayford who took over from coach Goran Barjaktarevic. The two-time Premier League winner was also reportedly sacked few days after losing 3-0 to Great Olympics.
The team has been struggling to beat the drop hence the decision to hire Konadu to augment their technical department.
However,, the future of Bashir Hayford is still unknown.
Legon Cities are without a win in their last four matches and have slipped into the relegation zone, lying on the 13 position with 39 points, 2 points above 16th-placed King Faisal.
