Hearts of Oak’s Board of Directors made a significant announcement appointing Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo as the Head Coach of Oaks FC, the newly formed Women’s team of the club.

Mercy Tagoe-Quaicoe returns to active coaching after her previous role with Berry Ladies FC in the first half of the 2022/2023 Women’s Premier League.

Oaks FC, the women’s team of earts of Oak, was established following the acquisition of Nimobi Ladies FC, which was subsequently renamed.

For the upcoming season, Oaks FC will compete in the Greater Accra Football Association Women’s Division One League with the ambition of earning promotion to the elite division.

The statement released by Hearts of Oak FC emphasizes that these technical changes have been made to ensure a strong technical direction for the club and enhance coordination among the various teams.

Additionally, the club has appointed Rene Hiddink, a Swedish trainer, as the Technical Director, Jerry Adjei Asare as the new Goalkeepers Trainer, and Sebastian Barnes as the Club Scout.

Carlos Klu will take on the role of Welfare as Hearts of Oak prepares to finalize another batch of technical team members for the forthcoming season. These changes signify the club’s commitment to bolstering the women’s team and fostering excellence in their performance.
