Nana Oduro Sarfo resigns from Berekum Chelsea after ‘unpleasant’ public comments
1 min readFrancis Oduro Sarfo has resigned as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ghana Premier League club Berekum Chelsea.
The Ghana Football Association Executive Committee member who has been with the Bibires for since 2011 in a letter sighted by 442gh.com refused to give reasons for his decision.
Sources within the club, however, revealed that Oduro Sarfo quits his job after an internal dispute with Chief Executive Officer Nana Kwame Nketia following the club’s press statement distancing itself from the unacceptable comments made by their CEO in an interview with Accra-based Angel FM when he heavily descended on people who criticized the state of the Berekum Golden City park during their 1-1 draw game against Asante Kotoko.
