Naby Keita’s agent laments over Striker’s lack of playing time at Kotoko

Charles Kouadio, agent of Asante Kotoko and Guinea striker Naby Laye Keita has registered his displeasure towards his client’s lack of playing time at the club.

Keita has had it tough since the start of the current season, he is yet to make the matchday squad despite impressing at the club’s pre-season.

Coach Maxwell Konadu has opted to start with Kwame Opoku and Osman Ibrahim ahead of Naby Keita who seems to have fallen down the pecking order.

Keita’s agent, Charles Koudio making public his frustrations has admitted that his client is the better striker of the two at the moment.

“Naby Keita is fit and not injured but the coach has decided not to use him. For now, he is still part of the Kotoko team so anytime he is called upon he will play”, Kouadio said in an interview with Kumasi-based Otec FM.

“No one is begging anybody to use him (Keita), he is a good striker and I can boldly tell you that none of the Kotoko attackers is better him” He added.

Meanwhile, Naby Keita has been included in the squad to face Olympics tomorrow at the Accra Sports Stadium.
