Accra Lions goalkeeper Appiah Kubi has signed a three-year contract with Medeama SC after a brief negotiation.

The 21-year-old decided against extending his contract with Lions following the expiration of it.

Appiah moved to the fast-rising Lions when they were in Division One in October 2020, and played a vital role in qualifying for the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.

The lanky goalkeeper joins the Yellow and Mauves lads as a free agent ahead of the 2022/23 season.

Kubi was part of the Black Satellites squad that represented Ghana at the CAF African U-20 Youth Championship 2019 in Morocco.

He has had a stint with Aspire Academy.
