Great Olympics winger Maxwell Quaye is confident that his outfit will end Hearts of Oak’s five-game winning run when the two capital-based clubs meet in the league on Sunday.

The Ghanaian giants have been in superb, having gone on a run of five games without defeat.

Samuel Boadu’s charges have also kept five clean sheets in the process.

The Phobians are currently on top of the 202021 Ghana Premier League with 49 points, five more than their regional rivals, who are third on the log.

Quaye, who scored in the 2-0 win against Hearts in the first round, is poised to repeat the feat again on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

“The team can’t wait for the most anticipated match of the season. This is a chance to break Hearts of Oak’s winning streak and close the gap on the league table. Hard work and team chemistry are vital in this derby,” he posted on Twitter.

Hearts are chasing their first league title in the last 11 years.
