Once again, Asante Kotoko SC failed to secure an away victory and were held to a 1-1 draw at the El-Wak stadium.
Despite dominating the first half and creating several scoring chances, Kotoko failed to capitalize on their opportunities.
However, they managed to take the lead in the 20th minute through a well-converted penalty by their captain, Richard Boadu.
The first half ended with no further goals despite both teams creating some chances. In the second half, Legon Cities improved their game as they sought to avoid relegation and eventually equalized on the 70th minute through a goal by Alex Aso, formerly of Inter Allies.
Kotoko had a chance to secure a late victory through Richmond Lamptey, but he missed the target. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, and both teams settled for a point each.
