Real Tamale United and Bechem United shared the spoils in a Ghana Premier League Week 29 game at the Tamale Stadium.
RTU who have been flirting with relegation for some time needed the three maximum points to move away from the relegation zone but Bechem scored late to deny the host the win.
Emmanuel Owusu gave Bechem united the lead in the 21st minute but Ronald Frimpong converted a penalty in the 32nd minute to make it 1-1.
After the break, RTU proved to be strong and subsequently grabbed their second goal of the day through Issah Kuka.
But Hafiz Konkoni struck late to deny RTU the three maximum points at their own backyard on Wednesday afternoon.
Bechem United still occupies second position with 48 points whereas RTU sits 14th spot with 34 points after 29 matches.
Meanwhile, the Hunters are being trailed by Hearts of Oak with just a point after the former win against Bibiani Goldstars.
