King Faisal suffered a third consecutive defeat after Legon Cities handed them 3-1 defeat at the El-Wak Stadium.
The host got off to a flying start, and Jonah Attuquaye powered them in the lead with a nice strike just six minute after kick-off.
King Faisal nearly grabbed the equaliser on the 30-minute, but Sackey did well to stop Boakye’s effort.
After the break, Legon Cities continued from where they left off piling pressure on Faisal.
New signing, Kwaku Hammond made it 2-0 for Legon Cities after a mistake at the visitors’ penalty box.
The visitors rreduced the deficit three minutes later with a good strike in the penalty box.
Nasiru Moro restored the host two goal lead on the 89 minute with a long range effort.
Cities held on to their 3-1 lead until the blast of the final whistle.
