Match Report: Hearts Of Oak draw with Ebusua Dwarfs in pre-season friendly game

Accra Hearts of Oak were held to a 1-1 stalemate by Ebusua Dwarfs at the GlowLamp Soccer Academy Park.

Coach Edward Odoom’s side started the match on a good note as they piled up pressure on the the Crabs lads to snatch the opener via a spot-kick.

Newly-signed striker Abednego Tetteh struck the ball firmly into the back of goalkeeper Razak Issah’s net to hand the Phobians opener.

Hearts of Oak were forced to make a substitution with five minutes to recess as Richard Attah was replaced by Richmond Ayi due to a head injury.

Striker Ishmael Antwi levelled the score for Ebusua Dwarfs to end the first department in a one-all draw.

Hearts of Oak made changes in their line up as Patrick Razak, Victor Kwaku Aidoo and Isaac Mensah were introduced for the second half.

Hearts of Oak continued their impressive output as Victor Aidoo and Michelle Sarpong tormented the backline of Ebusua Dwarfs.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw as both teams prepare for the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.

Hearts of Oak will start their season’s campaign with an away fixture against Aduana Stars whiles Ebusua Dwarfs will welcome their regional rivals Elmina Sharks on November 14.
