Taking charge early on, the Black Queens swiftly took the lead in the 19th minute courtesy of Vivian Adjei Konadu. The team continued to excel, and Priscilla Adubea extended Ghana’s advantage to 2-0 in the 27th minute, capitalizing on a well-executed team play.
At halftime, the Black Queens maintained a comfortable 2-0 lead. However, Guinea faced a setback just three minutes into the second half when one of their players, Camara Manet, was shown a red card for a reckless challenge on a Ghanaian attacker, reducing them to 10 men.
