Match Preview: Asante Kotoko seeks to maintain unbeaten away record against Karela United at CAM Park

Diawusie Taylor has dazzled million fans with his goal scoring prowess in the League especially at the Crosby Awuah Memorial park in Aiyinase.

The 21-year-old has scored nine goals to power Karela United to the top of the League log and his fine form would be the toast of fans when they line up against Asante Kotoko on Sunday.

Aside Taylor, Umar Bashiru, Sidiq Alhassan and Kwame Boateng have all been truly amazing in the season with some delectable performances on match days. Karela have won 22 points in 12 games with majority of the points being recorded at home, where they have a 100 per cent record after winning all six home games.

Asante Kotoko have not been overly impressive but have in recent weeks, enjoyed a positive turnaround to climb up to third, two points behind Karela United.

Karela have scored 14 goals, four more than what Kotoko have managed in the season is more than what Kotoko have scored this season.

Six of those goals have come from striker Kwame Opoku, with the other four coming Osman Ibrahim, Moro Ibrahim, Christopher Nettey and Naby Keita.

While Karela are unbeaten at home, Kotoko also boasts of an unbeaten record in away games, going six games without defeat.

In the last three competitive meetings, Kotoko have won two and lost one.
