Match Report: Akrofi scores late as struggling King Faisal beat Hearts of Oak in Kumasi

Defender Richard Akrofi scored a last gasp goal as King Faisal left it late to beat Hearts of Oak 1-0 in a match day 32 League fixture.
The former Hearts defender snatched the match-winner for the struggling Faisal at the Baba Yara Stadium at the depth.
The two teams created half chances but were unable to break the deadlock.
King Faisal came close and struck the wood work but the first half ended 0-0.
After the recess, Hearts of Oak created some decent chances but could not score and it was King Faisal who got the all important goal.
A corner kick in added time fell kindly to former Hearts of Oak defender Richard Akrofi who tapped it into the net to give King Faisal a priceless win.
The win sees King Faisal move up to the 13th position with 39 points with Hearts of Oak dropping to fifth position with 48 points.
