Match Report: Aduana Stars deepen the woes of King Faisal

Aduana Stars returned to winning ways from the defeat to Hearts of Oak last week by beating King Faisal 3-1 at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Sunday.
New signing Benjamin Tweneboah scored twice on the day with Prince Acquah adding another for the Ogya Boys to make it 3-0 before Isaac Frimpong pulled one back for the visitors with few minutes to end the contest.
The two times champions began the game in n explosive manner but the match had to be paused momentarily after both sides were forced into early changes.
King Faisal handed Donald Ibrahim his debut following an injury to goalkeeper Adam Jabal and Mohammed Abass coming on for Alex Boakye.
A few minutes later, Benjamin Tweneboah opened the scoring with a fine strike from close range.
Aduana was forced to make another unexpected change again, with top marksman Yahaya Mohammed paving way for Samuel Bioh.
Tweneboah should have doubled the lead his strike was met with an equally good save from Danlad Ibrahim before the break.
After the break, the young goalkeeper was tested again, pulling out a brilliant save to deny the host their second goal.
But the home side managed to score their second goal through Tweneboah striking again.
Aduana dominated with Prince Acquah hitting the final nail in threlegation-threatened sides coffin.
King Faisal pulled one back through Isaac Frimpong but it was not enough to force fightback in Dormaa.
