Twenty Times English Premier League (EPL) champions Manchester United have sacked their manager Ruben Amorim for his abysmal output in the 2025/26 football season.
Manchester United are currently 6th on the English Premier League (EPL) table. They have played a total of 20 league matches; won eight, drawn seven and lost five.
They have scored 34 goals and conceded 30. By virtue of that, they have a goal difference of four. They drew 1-1 in their last away EPL game against Leeds United.

It was after they had been held to a 1-1 draw by Wolves at their own backyard at Old Trafford.
Following these successive pulsating draws, the management of Manchester United have decided to end their working relationship with the Portuguese international who was appointed in November 2024.
The Red Devils will travel away from Old Trafford to engage Burnley in their next EPL game. It is a crucial match day 21 fixture which will be supervised by former player Darren Fletcher.

Ruben Amorim remains the 10th Manager been appointed by Manchester United since the retirement of Sir Alex Furguson.
The Managers include David Moyes, Ryan Giggs (caretaker), Loius Van Gaal, Jose Mourinhno, Ole Gunner Solsdjaer, Michael Carrick (caretaker), Ralf Rangnick (caretaker), Erik Ten Hag, Ruud Van Nistelrooy (interim) and lastly Ruben Amorim who has just been shown the exit.
