Kwesi Appiah guides Sudan to beat Mauritania in World Cup qualifiers

Sudan achieved a significant 2-0 away win over Mauritania in Nouakchott, putting them at the top of Group B, three points ahead of Senegal and DR Congo.
The Sudanese team started strong, taking the lead in the 15th minute when Saif Thierry finished a superb pass from Ramadan Agab. Their dominance was further rewarded in the 29th minute when Mauritanian defender Aly Abeid scored an own goal, doubling Sudan’s lead.
