Imoro Ibrahim, a left-back for Asante Kotoko, has cleared a required medical exam in preparation for his projected transfer to Al Hilal Omdurman of the Sudanese top-tier league.
Ibrahim is close to joining the team ahead of the 2022–23 season and had his medical earlier today in Sudan.
He recently traveled to Benin with the Black Galaxies as they advanced to the CHAN qualifying stage after defeating Benin in a two-legged match.
According to Joy Sports, Al Hilal will pay an initial fee of $150,000 upfront to Ghana Premier League record title holders Asante Kotoko for the 22-year-old full-back
However, that fee could rise to the region of $410,000 should the 2021/22 Sudan Premier League winners and Imoro reach some achievements.
If Al Hilal Club wins the CAF Champions League with Imoro playing a big part, the bulk of the add-on money will be given to Kotoko.
He joined the Porcupine Warriors in 2019 and contributed the most assists to the team’s 2021/22 Ghana Premier League championship.
