1 min read

Asante Kotoko defender, Habib Mohammed was furious this afternoon at coach Johnson Smith after he was replaced by Adom Frimpong at half time in their slim win against King Faisal.

The Porcupine Warriors secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over relegation-threatened King Faisal in an outstanding match-day 15 Ghana Premier League game at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman.

Guinean import, Naby Keita snatched the only goal in the 90th minute to pick all points.

The ugly incident at the venue happened between Asante Kotoko centre-back Habib Mohammed and head coach Johnson Smith.

Just before referee Samadji Josua Tetteh brought the first half to an end, coach Johnson Smith subbed Habib Mohammed with Kwame Adom Frimpong.

Habib Mohammed who was unhappy with the coach’s decision walked off the field furiously and nearly attacked coach Johnson Smith on the touchline.

It took the intervention of his teammates and some members of the technical team to calm the situation.
