Former AshantiGold attacker Shafiu Mumuni has denied joining Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC.
The 25-year-old was reported to have penned down a two-year deal with the Dawu-based club on Monday.
However, he has denied holding talks with officials of Dreams FC for a possible move.
According to the Black Stars strikers, there are several suitors from France, Spain and Portugal.
”It’s not true, I have not spoken to anyone at Dreams. There are suitors from France, Spain and Portugal and in Ghana Kotoko is also around. It’s not true am joining Dreams FC” Shafiu Mumuni told Oyerepa FM.
Shafiu is heavily linked with a move to the Porcupine Warriors.
He was impressive for the Miners in last season’s CAF Confederation Cup where he emerged as the top scorer for the side.
In 2019, he won the top scorer award during the WAFU tournament with four goals.
He recently underwent trials at CFR Cluj in Romania but could not secure a deal.
