Kotoko supporters are the largest in Ghana and the whole of Africa but they contribute nothing to the club – Alhaji Grusah

 
The Bankroller of King Faisal Football Club, Alhaji Abdul Karim Gruzah has taken a swipe at the supporters of local giants, Asante Kotoko over misplaced duties.

According to the outspoken football administrator, majority of Kotoko fans don’t pay anything to support the club financially as expected towards development.

The Porcupine Warriors pride themselves as the club with the largest fan base in Ghana.

However, the club do not have their own stadium, not to talk of a well-equipped training ground. They are deficient in terms of development as a club. I

The Porcupine Warriors boost of numerous fan base but have suffered numerous set back in recent times with the issue of financial inadequacy.  

And according to Gruzah, Kotoko supporters are the largest in Africa but they contribute nothing to the club as they portray.

“Asante Kotoko supporters are the largest in Ghana and the whole of Africa but t y contribute nothing to the club,” Alhaji Gruzah said on Angel FM, Kumasi.

The Reds are two times Africa champions and have won the Ghanaian top flight on 23 occasion.

However, the supporters of the Reds have been donating items to the playing body occasionally.
