Kotoko return home after successful pre-season camping in Koforidua

Asante Kotoko have returned to Kumasi after a successful camping in Koforidua in the Eastern Region.

The Reds’ contingent returned late afternoon on Saturday after rounding up their training activities in the morning.

They spent three weeks preparing for the upcoming 2020-21 Ghana Premier League scheduled to commence on November 13.

Maxwell Konadu’s charges are back home to continue their preparation, having played three friendly games – winning two and drawing one.

They first thrashed division two sides Odweanoma FC 3-0 before they were held to a 2-2 draw by Akosombo-based Krystal Palace. They ended up with the third game on Friday, thumping Division One side Mighty Jets 3-0.

In all, Kotoko netted 8 goals, and conceded 2 goals.

The players have been asked to rest on Sunday and resume for training at the Adako Jachie Training Complex on Monday afternoon.
