Oyerepa FM reports that Maxwell Konadu and the management team on Thursday, October 22, 2020, told the 26-year-old to look elsewhere after being deemed as surplus to requirement.

Per the reports, Karela United have shown interest in the former WAFA graduate and it is left with the player’s consent.

Interestingly, Antwi is currently in the camp of the team at Koforidua preparing for the upcoming season.

Antwi made 10 appearances, scoring a goal in the cancelled 2019-20 Ghana Premier League.

He joined the Reds on a three-year deal in 2018 after an unsuccessful spell Egyptian side FC Masr.
