Four members of the senior national team of Ghana have tested positive for the deadly virus after a mandatory test at the Kotoka International Airport on Sunday.
Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Razak Abalora and Turkey based Joseph Attamah Larweh have contracted Coronavirus ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan on Tuesday.
Two officials of the Black Stars also were confirmed testing positive for Coronavirus after being diagnosed by the medics at the Kotoka International Airport earlier today.
Abalora’s condition forced Coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor to hand a late call-up to Legon Cities FC goalkeeper Fatau Dauda for the crunchy encounter on Tuesday.
Black Stars captain Andre Ayew and his deputy Richard Ofori have been excluded from the Sudan game due to injury and suspension.
