Kotoko chief urges Ghana FA to convince Cameroonian import Franck Mbella to switch nationality

Asante Kotoko supporters leader, Nana Kwame Dankwah has urged the leadership of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to convince Franck Mbella Etouga to switch his allegiance, reports Saddick Adams.
Etouga, who joined Asante Kotoko at the start of the 2021/22 season, has been a goal scoring menace in the local topflight racking up 13 goals in just 12 games.
His goal scoring prowess has propelled the Porcupines to a league title scalp as the Kumasi-based outfit leads the league table with a whopping ten-point gap.
The 20-year-old has banged in two hattricks in his impressive debut season. He was recently crowned as the best player in the Ghana Premier League for the month of January.
His mindblowing figures has led to many mooting he can help the goalscoring deficiencies Ghana has faced since the exit of Asamoah Gyan.
Echoing the growing argument, National Circles Council – Asante Kotoko supporters group – vice chairman, Nana Kwame Dankwah has prayed the GFA convinces Etouga to ditch his native Cameroon.
