Kotoko Board Chairman Dr Kwame Kyei finally opens up on Light FM’s ferocious attacks on New Management

Board Chairman for Asante Kotoko, Dr Kwame Kyei Baffuor has finally lifted the lid on Light FM’s constant on attacks on the Nana Yaw Amponsah-led administration.

Nana Yaw’s management has been faced with scathing attacks and unfounded accusations from some media personalities with Kumasi-based Light FM sports crew leading the charge in recent weeks.

This attitude has caused a huge uproar at the supporters front with some section accusing Dr Kwame Kyei of empowering his employers at Light FM to attack Nana Yaw Amponsah and his management team to make their work difficult.

The supporters, on their various social media handles in recent weeks have expressed their anger with some vowing to do all they can to protect their management.

However, the Chief Executive Officer of Unity Group of Companies reacting to the issue in an interview with Kumasi-based Kessben FM/TV said he has no idea what goes on at the studio since his busy schedules do not permit him to follow their programs.

“My works are many and I am not always at the studio to monitor what goes on there. I am requesting for what they’ve been saying there that you think went against you but so far I’ve seen or heard nothing”

“There’s no way I will see something bad and I will keep mute, what I know is that we are promoting Kotoko, we cant run Kotoko down because we do everything Kotoko wherever you go and you follow us, why do you follow something you don’t like? he quizzed.

“You will never talk about what you don’t like, but all the same, I will make sure I talk to them when I feel they are going wrong”
