English-born Ghanaian midfielder, Kobbie Mainoo joined the rest of his Manchester United teammates to sign the book of condolence of the late Sir Bobby Charlton.

The Manchester United and England legend died on Saturday, October 21, aged 86.

Mainoo, who just recovered from an injury he suffered during pre-season, was joined by captain Bruno Fernandes and Jonny Evans during the signing of the Book of Condolence.

Sir Bobby Charlton played a significant role in the history of English football, and was part of the team that won the 1966 World Cup.

Meanwhile, Mainoo is gradually carving his path into the Manchester United team and could make his season debut in the UEFA Champions League game against Copenhagen on Tuesday.

The 18-year-old midfielder impressed manager Erik ten Hag during pre-season and was set for a huge role in the new season before the injury setback.

His return to training is morale-boosting for the struggling Manchester United as they seek to turn around things in the UEFA Champions League.
